The MTrack units are self-contained alarm units that are capable of being tracked by two methods. The initial position of the unit is achieved by querying the (GSM) Mobile Phone Network to find out what the last cell position the MTrack was recorded in. Once a cell location is established its position can be tracked to within a few feet by activating a built in RF transmitter, this enables a recovery team to be despatched to track a stolen unit very precisely.

The MTrack preserve battery life by working on a sleep wake cycle. Depending on the unit and configuration battery life can be anything from 3 to 4 years or more.

The operation of the MTrack is remotely configurable and when the unit is in its sleep mode, it is virtually undetectable to RF detectors.

The MTrack also contains several alarms which can be configured;

• Tamper Alarm                - If the unit is removed from its fixings
• Movement Alarm           -If a movement sensor is triggered
• Geo-Fence                    -If a set location (geo-fence) is violated
• Manual Alarm                -If the Alarm mode is set manually in case of unit being lost
